who is sam?

Hello! I’m Sam, a Graphic Designer & Illustrator currently based in San Diego, CA.

I’ve been invested in creative expression from a young age, developing skills in oil painting, design software, and photography all before graduating high school. My growth as a designer continued while attending and graduating from Chapman University, earning my BFA in Graphic Design.My career since then has been an exciting journey, producing thoughtful and engaging artwork for clients across the globe. I’ve worked as a freelancer, as an in-house designer, and in marketing agencies – and through those experiences, I’ve found a passion for brand storytelling and expression. Design is so much more than making something look nice! It’s about the intention in how and what you’re communicating. It’s about creating content that people want to engage with. And it’s about audiences experiencing your brand’s story.

When I’m not designing, my focus is always on the outdoors. I love rock climbing, skiing, hiking, and any excuse to be outside! I’ll also never say no to a cup of tea, petting a cat, or board games with friends. More than anything, I want to live life to its fullest!
